All is dark, no life, only death.

The picture of the original man in
this picture, where found at this
site: Andrew Hodges Homepage
It is used with permission.

The rest of the picture is a combo
of my pictures and digital handwork.

I’ve experienced that some users
may have dark screens. Here is a
link to a brighter version of the

Tears they fall, but why am I crying? After all I'm not afraid of dying...
Thats awesome. Theres something abuot that eye and ear that just doesnt seem right to me. However, the rest of this piece, is very well done. Good work.
I've updated the picture. Now he has a more human-like ear and another shape on the eye.

Thank you for the constructive comment!

Very nice. I love the background, but I do have a couple of suggestions. First off, that rock shines out like a bright, brilliant, powerful beacon screaming "Here I am! I am a rock! Look at me!" It might help to give it a similar, muted red color so it blended in a bit more, and didn't distract the viewer from the subject. Second, the face. The outlines are much too heavy, the face looks thouroughly flat, and 2-dimensional. I'd lose the outlining on the lips totally, and ease up on the thick eyebrows. Other than that, it looks great. Keep up the good work!

A Policeman came around the corner, he told me I had broke the law. Then the donkey kicked him in the kneecap and he fell down and broke his jaw!

I'm not sure if I can agree with the rock, because most people don't see it’s a rock..... :-(

I won't do anything with the eyebrows, because thinner and less marked eyebrows look more feminine.... And he is a man!

I'm going to make the lines around his lips to fit the color on the lips a bit more though.

Thank you for the comment!

I've taken away the white spot on the rock and made the lips more the same color all over.

the detail on the trees is brilliant, but the red figure in the foreground leaves me wondering for some reason. other than that, the darkness in this piece is somewhat satisfying.

one question, is that a bone or a stick in the character's hand?
If you look at the background on this image, do you think its a bone or a stick?

If you like only the background maybe [link] <--- this will look more nice to you...
